There have been some threads on Forums I watch about subforms and button-driven maintenance. Here is an example of a system I was asked to redesign. The top screen cap is the original form It is nearly three screen-fulls DEEP with embedded tables and subforms. Below it is my replacement form.

There are seven layered subforms within that colored border area. Each one is made visible by a particular button. Check boxes were replaced by yes/no toggle buttons, many fields are now combo-box driven for consistency, and the overall form is much easier to use. Hope this gives you some ideas.. |
